This site is run by The Music Business Inc. This policy explains, in plain language, what we do with your information when you sign up for the setup checklist.
What we collect
Your email address, and nothing else. We do not ask for your name, address, payment details or any other personal information, and we do not buy or import lists.
Why we collect it
To send you the setup checklist you asked for, and to send occasional updates about the book and the music business. We do not sell, rent or share your email address with anyone for their own marketing.
Who processes it
Our email list is hosted by Kit (formerly ConvertKit), an email marketing provider acting on our behalf. When you submit the form, your email address is sent to Kit and stored on their systems so the checklist and any later updates can be delivered. Kit also records basic delivery information such as whether an email was opened.
How to unsubscribe
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click removes you from the list and we stop sending immediately. You can also email paul@themusicbusiness.com and ask to be removed.
How to request deletion
Email paul@themusicbusiness.com from the address you signed up with, and we will delete your record from our list and from Kit. You can also ask us for a copy of what we hold, which will be your email address and the date you signed up.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will appear on this page. Questions can go to paul@themusicbusiness.com.
